A DIGITAL IDENTITY
In many industries, the value of a printed document can be substantially higher than an equivalent weight of currency. Losing or misplacing important documents such as health records and legal documents or any asset, can have undesired security, confidentiality and financial consequences.

To avoid the loss of critical printed documents, tools or asset, we have developed a solution that embeds RFID tags into all valuable documents or assets so they can be located and tracked in real time. With Cherami WAVES RFID, these documents tools or asset inherit a digital identity, giving staff the ability to search for and locate them as easy as clicking the search button on an Internet search page.

Our innovative system, supported by RFID technology, will provide a crucial contribution to achieving maximum transparency during the whole process of handling (printed documents, tools or assets); reducing time-consuming search processes and minimizing losses.

If you don’t want to take our word for it, ask some of our customers. We have the largest deployment of RFID systems in the Caribbean.

HOW IT WORKS
Cherami’s Waves RFID (radio frequency identifier) should be your first choice for sourcing high quality RFID tracking solutions. We use the latest software and tracking technologies to deliver solutions that meet the most demanding requirements.

RFID tags are small tags that can be read by wireless, non-contact readers. They are used to track and manage anything of value (such as printed documents, computer equipment, tools and equipment or food products) and people.

RFID tags have a number of advantages over bar-codes:

  • An RFID tag can be read even if it is passed near a reader, so you don’t have to position the item as exactly as when reading a bar code.
  • RFID tags can be read when they are covered or not visible – a tag can be read even if it is inside a box, carton or case.
  • You can read multiple RFID tags at once – unlike bar codes, which can only be read one at a time.
