More recently the monitoring of water levels has
taken on greater significance with the ever increasing risk of floods
which cost the Caribbean islands (Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, St. Lucia, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent etc.) millions of dollars annually. Today a new type of sensor (contactless water sensors) which can measure single or multiple
parameters with a programmable sampling rate, store the data on high
capacity internal loggers and trigger alerts when certain conditions are
met – is the preferred route for anyone involved in water level
monitoring. This data is then transmitted realtime to remote monitoring stations that can analyse the data and respond accordingly. Our environmental monitoring equipment supplies a range of intelligent monitoring sensors which are extremely accurate, weather resistant, vandal proof and will measure water level fluctuations directly without coming into direct contact with the water. These devices are
used for the measurement and logging of water level, rainfall and temperature. Our water level monitoring equipment is one of a range of sensors that can be linked to a telemetry systems for off site programming and downloading of data and triggering alerts. |
